On Monday, August 17 at 5:00 PM, we invite you to a free public meeting at Narvik Kulturhus about the 2029 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships and the importance of international sporting events for Norway.
For the first time in history, Norway will host the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships. Narvik has been entrusted with this responsibility on behalf of the entire nation, and the event will create major opportunities for sports, business and community development in the years ahead.
At the public meeting, you will hear an update on the work, the opportunities the championship will create for Norway, and how an international sporting event can leave a lasting legacy in our local communities.
We’ve brought together some of Norway’s most compelling voices in sports, politics, and event development—join us!
